Bought this rug for my kitchen area. Needed something wide enough to protect the floors my new hardwood floors from splatters while cooking. This definitely does not. I have been looking all over for a wide enough runner and so when I came across this one, I thought I will give it a try. The best thing is it has a nice built in gel backing and so It does not skid, has a very nice texture soft and cleans up easy. The pattern I chose coordinate and is better than I expected. I wanted to buy a couple more but they are no longer available in the same pattern. I definitely recommend it.The pattern on the rug is extremely bright and not at all subtle. We don't like it. However, although the vendor accepts returns, FedEx and UPS each quoted $40 postage to do so. This, for a $65 rug seems ridiculous.
